Last night members of the team attended the Volunteer Ireland awards in Dublin's city hall. 30 volunteers across the country were short listed for awards across 10 categories.
Team member Stephen O'Gara was short listed and won the award for the Animals and the Environment category. Also included in the category was our colleagues in the Irish Seal Sanctuary. It was a very humbling experience to hear the fantastic work that other volunteers do nationally often never making news headlines.
Thanks to Volunteer Ireland for a great evening. Pictured above with the team is Quaid Cleland who at 9 years of age won an award for his volunteer work with deaf elderly people.
