Situation: Dog in Water
Assets Tasked: Howth CGU
Outcome: NTR
On Saturday 10th while on exercise the unit were tasked to check Howth harbour where a member of the public reported a dog in trouble in the water. The area was checked but nothing found. Considered call with good intent.

Situation: Rescue 116 en route with casualty to Beaumont
Assets Tasked Howth CGU, Rescue 116, DFB, NAS.
A response unit from Howth CGU met Rescue 116 at Beaumont landing area and assisted transfer of injured person to NAS ambulance for onward transfer to hospital. Also on scene DFB providing fire cover.

Situation: Rescue 118 en route from Castlebar
Assets Tasked: Howth CGU, Rescue 118, DFB, NAS
Coast Guard Rescue Helicopter rescue 118 transferred casualty from Castlebar hospital to Beaumont at the request of HSE. On scene at Beaumont were Howth CGU, DFB and NAS.
