Incident 57/14
Howth Coast Guard were tasked today at 17.38 to check a report from a member of the public who was concerned about a paddleboarder far offshore at Portmarnock beach. Two volunteers went to the scene whereupon arriving the paddleboarder had just come ashore. The person was not in difficulty and did not require assistance. The Howth members spoke to the person and gave advice regarding the wearing of a suitable floatation device while taking part in a water activity.
