On Friday Gardai requested the assistance of the Coast Guard with a missing person search in Howth.
Howth Coast Guard, Howth Lifeboat and Coast Guard helicopter were tasked. With no developments the search recommenced at first light on Saturday.
The above teams were joined by Civil Defence personnel including search dog units. Coast Guard boat crews used Sonar equipment and worked with Garda Water Unit to assist search teams.
The search is ongoing.
