Situation: Report of boat upturned.in Malahide
Assets Tasked: CG IRT- (Howth)
Outcome: Resolved quickly by staff from Malahide Marina. False Alarm Good Intention. Thanks to Marina Staff for prompt assistance.

Situation: Missing Person Reported - Howth
Assets Tasked: CG - (Howth), RNLI (Howth), AGS (Howth)

Situation: Request for Sonar Response from Howth to Glendalough, Co Wicklow.
Assets Tasked: CG D Class Boat Team  – (Greystones), CG IRT - (Howth).
Outcome: While CG team from Greystones and Howth were launching Garda Divers located a body. CG personnel assisted with the shore recovery. RIP.

Situation: Report of Windsurfer in difficulty – Malahide Estuary.
Assets Tasked: CGU IRT - (Howth).
Outcome: CG personnel located the windsurfer. False Alarm Good Intent.
 
Local Incident Ref: 13/2017
Incident Date & Time: 25/02/17 18:00
Situation: Concern for Missing Person – Howth.
Assets Tasked: CG – (Howth), CG – (Dun Laoghaire), CG Rescue 116, RNLI (Howth), AGS
Outcome: Person was quickly located by Gardai – all assets stood down. Thanks to Dun Laoghaire CG for assisting.

    Our team of 25 volunteers based at Howth Harbour provide 24/7 on-call coverage and have specialised training to respond to local coastal emergencies in their own locality.
