Howth Coast Guard were tasked today at 14.00 to investigate a report of a gas cylinder in the water at Clontarf. Local volunteers responded and recovered the cylinder at Clontarf Yacht Club slip. It was handed over to the City council for disposal.
Cylinders like this can be a danger to shipping and damage boats if they are collided with.
