The Irish Coast Guard operations centre shortly before 3am this morning received a call from a female on Howth Head who had fallen on the cliff path.
The Irish Coast Guard team and Gardai from Howth were tasked to assist. A search team was deployed and located the female on a path leading to the summit car park, the casualty was medically assessed and then transferred by a stretcher party back to the car park. She was then transferred to a waiting ambulance. The team was stood down at 4am and returned to base.
