This evening (Friday) at 7pm two persons requested assistance on the cliffs at Howth Head. One had suffered a fall while descending a path near Balscadden to the water and they subsquently contacted 112 to get assistance.
In a joint operation teams from the Irish Coast Guard in Howth and Dublin Fire Brigafe located the casualties and evacuated them to a waiting DFB ambulance.
The two in their twenties had suffered minor injuries. The Coast Guard encourage people not to deviate away from the main cliff path while walking around Howth Head.
