Yesterday at 15.40 Howth CG were tasked to Beaumont hospital to prepare the landing site for an incoming medical emergency. Rescue 115 was en route with a patient from an accident site in Roscommon. Dublin fire brigade, Gardai and the HSE were also en route to assist. After the helicopter landed the patient was transferred via ambulance to Beaumont hospital and the unit was stood down. On the morning of Thursday 8th Oct. the team were tasked to assist Gardai in the removal of a body from a trawler in Howth harbour. RIP
