At 20.56 tonight Howth CG were tasked to investigate a call from a concerned member of the public that a 32′ yacht was aground in Sutton off Dollymount beach. Person Enters Water at Broadmeadows Estuary

Howth Coast Guard were alerted this morning at 0233 to a report from Gardai of a person entering the water at Broadmeadows estuary in Malahide. As the team were assembling at the station a call came through from Dublin Coast Guard MRCC that the Gardai had recovered the person so the team were stood down.

Man Falls at Balscadden Cliff

At 16.40 Howth Coast Guard were tasked to Balscadden in Howth where a man had fallen on the cliff and required assistance. The team arrived quickly and assisted the Coast Guard rescue helicopter to winch the injured man to safety.
