Balscadden Search

Howth Coast Guard were tasked last night at 20.20 after Dublin MRCC received a call that there were people on rocks in Balscadden in danger of being cut off by the tide. The caller was largely incoherent and the telephone number given was incorrect so Dublin tasked the Coast Guard team to check the report. A brief search was carried out of the area and in conjunction with talking to members of the public fishing and walking the cliff path it was concluded that there was nobody in danger at the location reported. Howth stood down at 21.15
