Missing Kite Reunited with Owner

Howth Coast Guard reunited a kitesurfer with his lost at sea kite this morning. If you do lose your kite contact your local Coast Guard MRCC/MRSC station and report it missing. It may also stop valuable resources being launched to search for a non existant missing kiter.

At 20.30 this evening while at the station a Howth Coast Guard volunteer spotted what looked like a small dinghy in trouble off Claremont beach. Howth Coast Guard will be hosting an Emergency Services Swim this Saturday 11th of July. The race will start and finish at Claremont Beach behind Howth Dart Station.
