At 16.09 today Howth CG were tasked to investigate a call from a concerned member of the public of people fishing at a dangerous spot on the Burrow beach in Sutton. The caller said that they were in the water up to their waists and that the current at that spot was fast and it may catch them unawares.
A volunteer went quicky to the scene talked to the fishermen and was satisfied that the fishermen knew the conditions in the area.
