On Wednesday evening the Howth CG unit visited the Clogherhead CG unit at their base and went on a joint cliff exercise in the area. Clogherhead are not a cliff rescue unit but were anxious to see the cliff team in action and gain some cliff rescue awareness as they do have some cliff sections in their response area. The Howth team set up a walking casualty recovery on a sea cliff at the back of the station and involved the Clogherhead unit in all aspects of the drill.
Both teams had a great evening and Howth were made feel especially welcome. Thanks to Eric and the crew at Clogherhead. Next on the cards is a visit to Howth.

it was a pleasure lads and looking forward to the next one
