Howth Coast Guard were tasked tonight at 19.15 to assist Dublin Fire Brigade at Howth Harbour.
Coast Guard MRCC Dublin had received a call of a fire on a vessel berthed at the west pier. Fire tenders from Kilbarrack and North Strand responded quickly and the fire was contained to the engine room. Howth CG stood by to monitor the situation for Dublin Coast Guard and to offer any assistance required. No casualties were reported and the team were stood down at 19.47
