Fire on Trawler in Howth Harbour

Howth Coast Guard were tasked tonight at 19.15 to assist Dublin Fire Brigade at Howth Harbour.

Civil Defence Exercise

The Civil Defence held a flood evacuation exercise on Broadmeadows estuary yesterday. The swiftwater rescue, medical, boat and fire crews were practicing rescuing casualties from a flooded housing estate and recovering them to a rest and welfare centre set up at the nearby Portmarnock leisure centre.
