At 1630 hrs Howth CG were tasked to investigate a report that a man had fallen into Howth Harbour opposite Nicky’s fish shop. A volunteer went to the scene to see if we could assist. The man, who had indeed fallen in was rescued by some staff from Nicky’s and was being tended to by the Fire Brigade who were already at the scene. Howth ILB had also responded to the call. The casualty was unhurt and was taken by the staff for a hot shower and a change of clothes.
