Man collapses on West Pier today

Howth Coast Guard volunteers returning from a boat patrol today at 17.30 responded to a request for assistance and went to the aid of a collapsed man on the West pier outside the Scout den. CPR and first aid were given to the man until a requested ambulance arrived. He was then removed to Beaumont hospital.

Callout to Person Reported to be Cutoff by Tide

Search for Missing Person Today

Howth Coast Guard were tasked today at 1615 to search for a missing person. Belongings of the person in a bag were found at Balscadden beach at 1300 and handed into the Gardai at Howth.
