Last Saturday, while at the station, a volunteer received a report from a member of the public on the East pier of a person that seemed to be trapped in the mud at the Baldoyle estuary. The volunteer reported the call to MRCC Dublin and went to the scene to investigate. After a brief search and having talked to some golfers the volunteer decided that the person had managed to free themselves and that further action was not needed.
