The team were paged at 0915hrs on Sunday to aid in the rescue of a casualty who had fallen from the cliffs at Balscadden car park in Howth. The casualty had fallen ~15m down rocks and into the sea before being pulled out by a fisherman who then called 112.
On arrival, the Coast Guard with Howth RNLI and Dublin Fire Brigade transferred the casualty into the RNLI Inshore Lifeboat. Howth ILB took the casualty to a waiting ambulance at the Lifeboat Station where a doctor with the Coast Guard monitored him en-route to hospital.
