Yacht aground on Claremont beach

On Monday morning at 0750 Howth CG were tasked to a yacht which had run aground on Claremont Beach. Volunteers went to the beach to find it had broke away from it’s moorings outside the harbour entrance and had drifted up onto the beach behind the west pier. Nobody was on board at the time.

Five Stuck on cliffs today

Howth ILB responded quickly today and recovered two people stuck at the bottom of the cliffs at the nose of Howth. Three more people who were also there made their way to the top by foot.
