Call to car stranded on Dollymount

Howth Coast Guard were tasked early this morning at 01.00 to assist a car stuck in the sand on Dollymount below the high tide mark which was in danger of being consumed by the incoming sea. Two volunteers went to the scene and recovered the car and it’s three occupants to safety.

Howth Lifeboat Flag Day

Howth RNLI Lifeboat flag day will take place this weekend on the 11th, 12th and 13th of May. Collection points around the Howth and Sutton area. Please give generously.

Howth Coast Guard boat was launched today (Bank Holiday Monday) to carry out normal operations of lifejacket monitoring & patrols.
