Search for Reported Upturned Boat

Howth Coast Guard were tasked at 09.45 this morning by MRCC Dublin to a report of an upturned boat in the water in Balscadden Bay on the East side of Howth Harbour. The report was given by a member of the public.

Reported Flare Sighting

Howth CG was tasked at 0845 yesterday by MRCC Dublin after 2 reports of a flare sighting. A team member went to Dollymount Strand and scanned the area between Howth and Sandymount but saw nothing. Howth Coast Guard were yesterday involved in a large scale search for a missing Donaghmede woman. We received a request from the Gardai who had reason to believe she may be in the Howth area.
