At 1400hrs the team, along with Howth Lifeboat were tasked by MRCC  (Marine Rescue Co-ordination Centre) Dublin following a report that two people had fallen into the sea at Howth Harbour. Luckily the two were able to get ashore by themselves and the team were quickly stood down.

The incident however should act as a cautionary reminder that harbour walls can be dangerous places in high winds and big seas and while it is very tempting to do so, people should not venture close to the waters edge in such conditions.
