Howth were tasked today at 11.45 to investigate a report from a concerned member of the public of a vessel which seemed to be in difficulty off Sutton. Two volunteers from the unit proceeded to the scene and confirmed that the vessel was not in any danger but was moored in behind Dollymount island and nobody was on board. It had been moored there for some time but due to todays conditions was in a rough swell. Call with good intent. Stood down at 12.15.

One Response to “Call to boat in suspected difficulty.”

Its been moored there for a couple of months now. I don’t think I’ve ever seen conditions quite so wild there as they were around 11am this morning. It really was taking a pounding.
