At 13.29 today Howth CG were tasked by Dublin MRCC to investigate a report of a kite and board found by a Yacht one mile east of the nose of Howth. We assumed hopefully that they had been lost by a boarder and proceeded to the Burrow beach and Dollymount to check with anybody there had they been lost. At Dollymount we talked to kitesurfers who said a kite and board had been lost at the Burrow at about 12.00 but had not been reported. MRCC were happy with that report and that nobody was missing and we were stood down at 13.50
