At 20.09 tonight Howth CG unit responded to a report of two swimmers in difficulty off Claremont beach. The full team responded along with Howth ILB. After arriving on scene Howth ILB picked up the two swimmers and returned them to shore. They were quite a way offshore but were not in distress and were comfortable.
Howth CG unit were stood down at 20.30. Considered 999 call with good intent.
