The Howth Coast Guard voluntary unit carried out Life Jacket compliance monitoring in the Dublin Bay area yesterday. Good results were found across the board with all personnel on sailing vessels under 7m wearing jackets, although a minority of small pleasure craft were not.

During lunch the Howth Delta RIB entered Dublin Port to view the British ‘HMS Ocean’ Aircraft Carrier docked in the basin with Irish Naval Vessel ‘L.E. Niamh’ and 3 Dutch Mine Sweepers further up river.
