The Howth Festival is on the weekend of the 14th-16th July and Howth Coast Guard will be there. The station on the west pier is open all weekend so please feel free to drop in and say hello to the team. We will be doing a Cliff Rescue technique display on Sunday at 1.00pm on the East pier and then at 4.30pm there will be a Search and Rescue demonstration off the East pier which will include Coast Guard Helicopter Rescue 116, both Howth Lifeboats, the Civil Defence and of course Howth CG boat ‘GRAINNE’. There will be plenty going on in Howth over the weekend so get along and have some fun.
