Howth CG were tasked at 19.03 tonight to assist the Dublin Fire Brigade tackling a fire in the forest behind the Deerpark hotel. Howth responded with the Quad bike and trailer and also the salvage pump and hose equipment. We assisted the Brigade in setting their hose up to the seat of the fire where the firefighters covered the area in foam and put out the fire successfully. We were stood down at 21.00 and returned to station.
