Howth CG were tasked tonight at 22.41 to investigate the sighting of a red flare over the Sutton/Howth area, reported by a person in Sandymount. Two team members searched the coastline from Sutton Creek to the Baily lighthouse and reported nothing found. Weather and visibility conditions were good. The team was stood down by MRCC at 23.25.
