Howth CG unit were tasked tonight at 23.20 to investigate a report of a car in the water on Dollymount beach. Two members of the unit went to the scene. On arriving they were met by units of the Dublin Fire Brigade who had assertained that the car was not in the water but at the edge and in no danger. The Howth Unit members spoke to the occupants of the car and asked them to move to a safer part of the beach back from the water. The team was stood down at 23.47.
