RTE News report on the team’s recovery last night:

“Garda­ are seeking the public’s assistance to help identify the body of a man which was taken from the Irish Sea off Howth Head, Co Dublin, yesterday evening.

The body was recovered from the sea by a Coast Guard helicopter shortly 6pm and was removed to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

The man, who is thought be in his 50s, is described as approximately 1.68m (5′6”) in height with receding grey hair and wearing a knee support on his right leg.”
