Submerged Vehicles on Dollymount

Howth Unit were paged this morning at 0832hrs to investigate a camper van and car submerged on Dollymount Strand. The Howth 4×4 Jeep, Gear Van & Quad ATV responded along with Rescue 116, Dun Laoghaire Inshore Lifeboat (ILB) and Raheny Gardai who were also on scene. A brief search of the area, debris & vehicles was carried out before the team was stood down at 0901hrs. Dollymount beach authorities are organising removal of vehicles.
